Pleasant Grove Job Fair: Eight Employers on Buckner Boulevard

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Pleasant Grove Workforce Center, 1125 S. Buckner Blvd., Dallas

Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas lists eight employers for this one, and the mix is wide. Dallas ISD and the Texas Department of Public Safety bring the public-sector side. Omni Hotels and Levy Restaurants cover hospitality and event food service. GXO is a large contract-logistics company that runs warehouse operations across North Texas. Smith Personnel Staffing, Eclipse Professional Staffing and Tactical Systems Network round out the list.

The organizer has not posted specific openings or pay for any of them, so ask each recruiter directly what they are filling, which shifts, and where the job is. Three hours is plenty of time to work the whole room if you show up near 10.

Tongrun International Hiring Event in Garland

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Garland Workforce Center, 530 Clara Barton Blvd., Suite 270, Garland

This is a single-employer event and the roles are specific. The event listing names brake operators and brake mechanics, punch and laser mechanics, MIG and spot welders, grinders, shake and deburr operators, quality assurance inspectors and a quality assurance admin. Tongrun is a contract manufacturer that builds metal cabinets, enclosures and racking for data centers, telecom and power customers.

The window is only two hours, so arrive early.

⚠️ Ask Where the Tongrun Jobs Are Before You Commit

The hiring event is in Garland, but the listing does not say where the work is. Tongrun's own parent company describes its Texas plant as a 175,000-square-foot facility in Bonham, up in Fannin County, about an hour northeast of Garland. Nobody has said the jobs are in Bonham, but nobody has said they are in Dallas County either. Ask the recruiter where you would report and what shift you would work before you accept, and plan your commute around the answer. Pay and shift details have not been published.
