💼 Who's Recruiting at the Farmers Branch Career Fair

Diversity Career Group has run this fair out of the same Farmers Branch hotel several times a year, and the October date is the last one it has scheduled for 2026. The DoubleTree sits a short drive from both I-35E and LBJ Freeway, within easy reach of Carrollton, Addison, Irving and Far North Dallas. The format is different from a ballroom walk-through: the pitch is sit-down interviews with hiring decision makers, not a handshake and a brochure.

The employer roster had not been published as of this writing. The organizer's listing describes local and nationally known companies hiring across sales, customer service, health care, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, logistics, IT, government, retail and management. It is aimed at entry-level candidates and recent college grads as well as experienced professionals, so a new grad from UT Dallas and a ten-year sales manager from Las Colinas are both in the target audience.

What that list does not include is worth saying plainly: this is an office, sales and professional fair. If you are hunting warehouse, forklift or construction work, the fairs aimed at those trades are a better use of your morning.

📋 How to Show Up Ready

  • Professional dress is required. Not business casual. Suit or the closest thing you have to one.
  • Bring at least 12 copies of your resume. That is the organizer's number, not ours.
  • Register ahead. It is free through the Diversity Career Group event page, and on-site registration is also available if you decide that morning.
  • Arrive early. The whole event runs two hours. Get there close to 11:30 AM.
  • Apply online that evening. The organizer tells candidates to finish each company's application promptly after the fair.
